My mom received a chest x-ray today that revealed that the amount of fluid in her right lung is starting to decrease. She was told that she needs to start eating more ... even if it's in the form of food supplements (Boost, Ensure, etc). Not ONE can of Boost a day ... THREE. Depending on her hemoglobin level tomorrow, she may receive a blood transfusion (she's at 8.5 currently). Maybe go home Thursday ... more likely Friday.
